Wonder if any are refugees from Time Bombers, which was taken of line (by one insider reporting, after the FBI had been involved) in the last couple of weeks.
TB had maybe about a 1000 members: so that's a lot of people looking for a place to blether.
Other well kent MOs have been appearing on other forums.

That the FBI took them offline is only alleged: but alleged by a party who claims to have gone to the FBI himself, two days before they went off line.
There are complexities somewhat beyond easy portrayal, involving inexplicable tension between forums: but this party had been expelled from TB, amidst strong emotion and furor, some week or two before TB shut down, with the open claim that he had been trawling through member's records and "stealing files”.
The forum was generally, but not universally, highly critical of the USA: but through posting media pieces; not through OpEd from the forum officers themselves.
The FBI allegation could be an opportunistic and unfounded boast: but equally, it could be a "blocking" done under the Patriot act.
I would say that half the regular posters in "world affairs" here, go way beyond what was being said on TB: there is some real intellectual muscle to the critique of US/coalition policy here.
I think that critiques with real wheels are being forged on the internet, and presumably that might concern some in authority. If you’re ventilating powerlessly, then no one will bother: but if you are putting together perspective that others might find convincing, then you might conceivably be tracked.
Just how many forums are there, which are hammering out sound critical perspective, on what the coalition is currently about?
