What is the greater threat to World Peace?

Americans and Non-Americans have separate answers. Please feel free to add explanation to any and all answers.

I have to say I have plumped for George Bush. He has created far more damage to world peace in his short time in office than anyone else and thus damaging the standing of the US in the International Community as a result.

he has also responded to the first attack on U.S. soil since pearl harbor.. BUT lets just forget that piece of info.

No, let's not forget that fact.

The attack was made by a group of criminals not the country of Iraq.

Furthermore by increasing anti-American hate he created more sympathy to terrorist causes and made it easier for terrorists to get nukes.

Nukes: Coming to a city near you. Catch the wave.

And boy did he respond. Instead of going after the criminals behind 9/11. Bush's administration has thrown away and cast aside the support of the majority of the world which the US rightly received after that horrific day.

He has alienated the UN, illegally invaded a sovereign country in the form of Iraq. Under the presumption that Saddam had stockpiles of WMD and was linked to Al Qaeda.

In fact Mr Bush has made the world I live in a far more dangerous place to live in. Thanks :eyes

That is the point Bobboi...Afganistan...we went there first and did not finish what we started there...as well as not nabbing an aging kidney failing terrorist...a man who needs dialysis ...still out there...still being a living martyr!....
Don't you think HE ...oh right ...let me mention his name is NOT SADDAM..
His name is Osama...and he's still out there..and Afganistan is still not a "Democracy"...Our men and women are STILL DYING there...Do you honestly think that Bush truly made the right decision by INVADING IRAQ???
Don't you think he could have organized this better?? Giving Blix the extra 6 fecking months to PROVE there were no WMD...6 months could have made a huge difference...The UN WOULD have helped had we given the inspectors the time they requested... Our military is stretched way too thin ...you have Mothers/Fathers, sons and daughters dying in both Iraq and Afganistan...they do not have all the tools they need... we still have NO final plan of withdrawl from either country...
Please Bob..Use your head once in a while...
Can you think of those who are serving thier country for you and me???
Bush has a problem with knee jerk responses... He is NOT a diplomat by any means...
Ask him though ...and he will tell you...
America is SAFER....

It took 4-6 years to hunt down the bad guys and allow Germany and Japan be self governed. I suppose they are failures too right?

You live in the fictional TV world and expect everything to be summed up within an hour like on CSI!

Are you comparing World War 2 to Operation Iraqi Freedom?

The same fictional world that watched and believed a 16 day war? The same fictional world that had GWB, come in on an aircraft carrier and declare mission accomplished?

The challenge is gone, but I'll make the point anyway: It could equally be said that you live in the fictional tv world where there are clearly defined good and bad guys, and the good ones will win in the end.

Er... since that would appear to be me, I'll just quickly take everything back and hope no one shoots me for my own good...
