Alliance via fear.
I saw a good English movie last night “Liam” Which among other interesting avenues, explored scarring wee children of the horror of going to hell.
This was their way to make “good Christians” out of them. It worked well.
This Christian administration know this works so why not use it.
If one were to adopt the current Administration’s ruse for support, the irony is that the more terrorists they create the more you should vote for them.
Of course, they don’t put it that way.
In this day of “sound bites”, it’s next to impossible to attack this tactic i.e. the attacker will be “sound bitten” to portray him as “weak on terrorists” or supporting Saddam.
The right wing likes to say, “John Kerry and Edwards voted for the war which is untrue.
Rather, they voted to give their President the authority to declare war (which they now regret) but they trusted that it would REALLY be a last resort decision. Very big difference. – sinterest.
