Not So Fast, John Kerry; Survey Says President Bush Has Best Hair

:rofl
http://www.prnewswire.com/cgi-bin/stories.pl?ACCT=109&STORY=/www/story/07-08-2004/0002207030&EDATE=

STERLING, Ill., July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- May the best candidate win, but
when it comes to the best presidential hair, George W. Bush has America's
vote, according to Wahl Clipper Corporation's 2004 Grooming Survey and First
Ever "Index" on men's grooming habits.
Despite John Kerry's recent claim that the Kerry-Edwards ticket has the
best hair, Wahl's survey found that the majority of Americans overwhelmingly
voted for Bush's hair over Kerry's (Bush -- 51 percent; Kerry -- 30 percent;
neither -- 10 percent; don't know -- 9 percent.)
"Wahl isn't choosing sides politically, but when it comes to what we know
best -- hair -- we're interested in what Americans think is a fitting
hairstyle for their president," said Pat Anello, Director of Marketing for
Wahl Clipper. "Whether you're running for president or running a busy
schedule, Wahl has innovative, quality products that make grooming easy."
The truth behind these and other hairy facts have been tabulated to form
Wahl's first annual Grooming Index, designed to benchmark the grooming
behavior and habits of American men (age 18 and over).
The survey, conducted by Opinion Research Corporation, is based on
telephone surveys of 1,009 adults, 18 and over (including 512 men) conducted
between May 6-9, 2004 with a margin of error among all adults plus or minus
three (3) percent (and a margin of error plus or minus four percent among
men).

Sorry bobboi....but you know how polls go...
Perhaps it would be better for you to view more then one poll...
Check the link...
Also TPink...yesterday posted the Rassmuesen (sp?) poll...
One poll that tends to get respect..anyway..it shows there is great hope for the Dems to take it in November..
It is however, still 4 months away and ANYTHING can happen between then and now...it very well could change the pulse of November turn out..
Who knows...?

You got me dead to rights ... :bleh
We all make mistakes..and I AM human..I am only a Goddess in my own home :D....
I also removed my bit of gloating... I feel it is not appropriate after I made an arse of myself :boob

Perhaps, Goddess, if you had taken the time to read what he posted and what the poll was actually about instead of an automated response... it's about who has the best hair not who you would vote for. :eyes

Which is hardly a 'World event', more of an 'Anything goes' topic.

*public grovel*

I responded with a knee jerk reaction and made an arse of myself..
Pardon me Bobboi..
All I saw was POLL... after reading and responding to so many of these things recently..I did not take the time to read it.. it is actually kind of funny and I should have read it fully in the first place...

Is this a decent enough apology???

And Now, a Public Service Announcement from John Kerry's Hair
Jun 7 2004 by John Kerry's Hair
I am the hair of John Kerry. We've been together for a long time, and it's been quite a journey. From the mansions and country clubs of upper-class Boston to the rice paddies of Vietnam, we've been through a lot of things together.

Now, John's running for President, and I couldn't be happier. It's not easy, though. The harsh lights, the long schedule...it's all I can do to stay firmly rooted in his scalp. I take some amount of pride in knowing that many voters' perceptions of him are based on me. I've heard women make comments about his "thick, lustrous hair," and many even call him handsome. I know that's because of me. I mean, look at him.

Not to be negative, but a candidate needs really good hair. Either good hair or good policy. I'm amazed Bush was elected at all. But, be that as it may, Democrats usually have really good hair. Clinton had it, so did Kennedy. If you look, even Thomas Jefferson had really good hair. Auburn hair with strawberry highlights, and that was in the time before dyes. I don't know what that guy Traficant was thinking.

It's been a good run, being with John all these years. Although I'm happy now, I still sometimes drift back to those halcyon days after the war. I was long and dark, and constantly run-through by hippie girls' fingers. That was great. I love to see that old footage, testifying before Congress, standing strong before The Man. Those were really heady times. I always had the best smell, that sweet mix of patchouli and pot smoke.

But these days, I'm happy. John's really happy, too. He's doing okay in the polls, and I'm still hanging in there with him. With a little hard work by me, and a vote from you, I may be sliding across pillow cases on Pennsylvania Avenue next January.

Thank you, and vote Kerry!

Another poll result shows Bush losing to Hitler:

Bush Liked Less Than Saddam, Bin Laden
Wed Jul 7, 2004 11:07 AM ET

BUDAPEST (Reuters) - President Bush is disliked by more Hungarian secondary school children than former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden, according to an opinion poll published on Wednesday.
Bush also topped the list of most-liked foreigners with eight percent of the vote, ahead of Pope John Paul with six percent.

The survey of 34,000 students, aged 16-18, from 655 high schools showed Adolf Hitler was the most disliked foreign personality with 25 percent of the vote, followed by Bush with 23 percent and Bin Laden with 16 percent.

Bush was even more unpopular than former Soviet dictator Josef Stalin, according to the poll.

The most unpopular Hungarian was Prime Minister Peter Medgyessy followed by Viktor Orban, the leader of the right of center Fidesz opposition.

Orban was also the most popular Hungarian followed by Arpad Goncz, the former dissident who became the country's first post-communist president.

Considering what the East Bloc countries suffered under Stalin, that Bush beat him (and by more than he beat Osama) is saying rather a lot....
