First off let’s admit it, none of us are perfect. We can’t always be right, and that’s what sparked the creation of Brew’s Law. Named in honor of Local Brew, who uses it often, no longer will you be the merciless victim of such nasty little annoyances like facts or reason.

Debates can be tricky business. Nobody can really be expected to have all the possible information at their disposal. Be it time, energy, mental acuity or resources there may, God forbid, come a time when you find yourself on a limb and facing defeat. That’s when Brew’s Law comes in most handy.

Simply stated, once you find yourself facing humiliation remind the opposition of your prominent (current or former) position as a High-Ranking, Secret Intelligence Agency Official. Given those circumstances and that your opponents are clinging to propaganda generated by the Liberal Media Conspiracy there is no way you could be wrong. You may now declare victory!!!!

As an added benefit, Brew’s Law is not limited to use during Message Board debates. It is also a great ice breaker with members of the opposite gender. Go ahead and give it a go. No more lonely nights!

Is it really a mere coincidence that John Kerry is married to the Heinz Heiress and while running for President Ronald Reagan dies?

Reagan made common household ketchup into a vegetable substitute in school lunches during his administration. How could anyone overlook the connection?

But dig a little deeper and it all begins to make sense.

Remember the Ketchup Song just a few years ago by the Ketchup Girls?

They were from Spain.

What rhymes with Spain?

Right! Plane.

And didn't the admired liberal Mr Wellstone somewhat recently die in a questionable plane crash?

Yes, and where did Wellstone eat that has ketchup?

McDonalds. Right!

And what does McDonalds sound like?

Right! McDermont. And who is McDermont?

Right!! The Congressman from my district that speaks out against Bush.

It's all a conspiracy I'm telling you.

One big Conspiracy.
