I have added a basic script to allow you too see the latests topics posted to on the forum on your active desktop on your computer...
it is still basic, it updates every 20 mins on it's own ( as long as you are connected) no colours as yet... but tit functions
to enable this you need to right click your desktop and goto PROPERTIES in XP you need to clikc the DESKTOP tab and the CUSTOMIZE DESKTOP button at the bottom of the window in the window that opens, you need to click the WEB tab at the top and the NEW button then in the window that pops up enter this url
politicsandcurrentaffairs.com/desktop.php
and click okay and apply to everything it should appear on your desktop then as an item...
in 98 i beleive you right click the desktop and goto properties then there is an active desktop tab
enter the url above and click okay etc to make it work
it is probably not very useful to most people but saves having to open up a browser if you wanna check stuff all the time...
sorry linux users dunno wht to do for you yet. :lol
