Well, I figure if we have a greatest thread we need a worst thread too, right?
As far as Presidents go, vote who you think did the worst job in office.

This is actually a tough one. There have been SO many sucky Presidents, but I'd have to say Hoover was worst.
I voted other, It would be a toss up between Carter and Clinton...actually Ford wasn't really anything special. I will have to choose Slick Willie.

Lyndon Johnson was easily the worst president ever. How can any president be worse than that guy?

Many people may have thought the same until boy Bush came along. At least Johnson didn't volunteer to fight the Vietnam War. He just escalated it.

Some bad presidents:
- Ronald Reagan, old pal of Ferdinand Marcos.
- George Bush Senior, the original butcher of Baghdad.
- Bill Clinton. Yugoslavia was actually prosperous before he came along.
- George Bush Junior. I hope I don't have to write down the reasons.

My Top 5 WORST PRESIDENTS:
1. George W. Bush Jr... I would've gave it to Lyndon B. Johnson before we had another failure on this administration's behalf... That being the response to the Gulf Coast. Also... I've never seen an administration fuck the people over for corporate profits as much as I've seen this administration fuck people over.
2. Lyndon B. Johnson... Britain and France told us Viet Nam was not a good place to get involved with politically or militarily, and they told us it was best to negotiate trade with Viet Nam without politically interfering in the region or using our military. Johnson went in like a dumb-ass anyways.
3. Andrew Johnson... succeeded Abraham Lincoln after Lincoln was assassinated and did an absolutely horrible job with reconstructing the nation after the Civil War due to his extremely racist views. He'd allow the KKK to run rampant across in the south and he'd use the military to oppress the social and civil equality of black people in the south. He'd also use our military to engage with the Native Americans in the West and start the Indian Wars of the late 1800's. Quite simply... he was an ignorant and uneducated moron that ended up getting impeached due to his idiotic behavior.
4. Richard Nixon... Very similar to Bush Jr... Continuously kept our troops in harms way in the special interest of securing favorable conditions for our corporations doing business in Southeast Asia. Completely sacrificed the conditions and wages of the laboring mass to benefit the elite while allowing inflation to run rampant, which pushed us into a recession and, ultimately... was forced to resign before articles of impeachment were presented to him for participating in scandalous political activities.
5. Grover Cleveland... Allowed corporate corruption to run rampant across the country during the Railroad Wars and allowed corporate corruption to take hold of our government by promoting the concept of corporate political influence through various campaign reform acts. Essentially... Grover Cleveland would be the first President to allow campaign and lobby contributions from corporations to not be considered bribery by allowing corporations to establish PAC's... "in the interest of a corporation's employees"
Top 5 BEST PRESIDENTS
1 & 2. Thomas Jefferson and James Madison... Really, You have to read the letters citing their opinons, the Federalist Papers and see their basis for establishing our government if you really want to understand what the United States government is supposed to be. These two minds established the foundation for Democracy and the Republic of the United States. They established a government controlled by the people for the free society of people with checks and balances to deter corruption and tyranny.
3. Franklin Deleanor Roosevelt... He restored fiscal responsibility to our government, he implemented programs and projects to create jobs for the people in America. He implemented government oversight aimed at improving labor conditions and improving corporate accounting practices. He brought us out of the depression and he got rid of the ridiculous prohibition that caused more social problems than alcohol itself.
4. Ulysses S. Grant... After Andrew Johnson completely screwed everything up... U.S. Grant came in and started improving the infrastructure of the United States and started enforcing the social equality of African Americans and Native Americans in the United States to the best of his ability by establishing diplomacy with Tribal leaders in the West and cracking down on the KKK. Although the focus of improving communications and railroads would eventually lead to corruption by various corporations down the road... The infrastructure and diplomacy provided by Grant produced the exploding westward migration of society and integration of races through immigration. Quite simply... He was the President of the United States that created the golden years after the Civil War was over.
5. Bill Clinton... Left with a recession, enormous debt and a decade of shady proxy wars that left the U.S. with less than favorable political stature in the world.... Bill Clinton implemented government programs to improve the IT industry, which improved communication throughout the world and allowed the United States to prosper off the IT boom due to Bill Clinton investing so much of his time and energy in the internet industry. We'd get out of debt and have a surplus by the end of his term. We'd have extremely favorable political stature with the entire world and inflation would actually start to reverse in the United States the last two years he was in office. However, he got his dick sucked in office, so that knocks him down from the #3 spot to here. Yes... Bill Clinton was the FDR of our generation. That's what I'm saying.

Some bad presidents:
- Bill Clinton. Yugoslavia was actually prosperous before he came along.
Oh yeah... That's what I use to determine how successful the President of the United States is... I determine how good the President of the United States is by determining how prosperous Yugoslavia is... :dunno :dunno WTF???
Also... I'd be willing to bet money Yugoslavia started going downhill when Russia collapsed and the Cold War ended, which was due to Reagan and Bush Sr.'s foreign policy... Maybe if Yugoslavia wasn't dependent on trade with Russia... Yugoslavia wouldn't have went into a depression during the nineties when Russia collapsed. Also... Maybe Clinton wouldn't have came along if Yugoslavia didn't have a murdering genocidal nutcase named Milosovich running the country.
