Incredible voice. She sings a lot of traditional Celtic music, and writes some of her own.

I saw a special she did for television a few years ago. She has Celtic heitage, but was born and raised in Canada. She has dedicated her life to studying Cletic culture and music.

I'm more into the later stuff, Beethoven and up - a lot of the
Russian and English composers (like Elgar) as well as some American, such as Copeland. I like Chopin, Debussey, and other piano men.

And in general, loud, crashing, is good. Like Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries and The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Also like balladeers like Roger Whittaker.

About the only things I really can't stand are C&W, and heavy metal.
