A very interesting piece on Radio 5 about the greatest opening guitar segments. (riffs?) They'll be talking about a list in a guitar mag.
They want emails and texts about personal faves.

Think mine would be
Whiskey in the Jar, Thin Lizzy.

I listened to Humph too Zan. Quite get on with R2 now in the evening, especially if R6[digital] goes 'ravy'. I cant see the point of listening to 'rave' music if you're not in a 'dance situation' with various uninhibiting substances.

Today I listened to Elvis Costello, Mansun, The Yardbirds, Jimi Hendrix and Mansun.

i gave up on getting mp3's in the end.... got most of the ones i wanted... ripped the others that i want too..

these days i listen to radio online... usually something like virgin radio...

at least there are less adverts and the ones they do have on uk radio are funnier.... well at least i think so anyway...

when i started working for the club and heard live music most nights a week i cherished my times of silence...

since i am not working there anymore i get to listen to a few tunes every now and again.... but i do have a new appreciation of complete quiet.... sometimes it helps to listen to the voices and music in your head........

Actually,
I think the availabilty of on-line radio has revived ordinary radio programming.

I couldn't be bothered recording things from KaZ, anymore
too many unlabelled CDs lying round the place as it is.
