Just a quick post to throw my hat in the ring also, with all the other well-wishers, and to say that perhaps it was time for a change. Nothing in life is permnent, and we should always strive for growth and improvement.

My time spent this last year at P & CA has more than convinced me that Daav is quite capable of mentoring an excellent forum, with broad appeal, and unique attributes, and I feel no fear, nor remorse for the old, in casting my lot with the new.

Congratulations and best wishes on the new board. I think many of us felt it was time. I like the colors, the layout, the speed - everything. Great job, Daav, and I know it must have taken some real time and effort on your part to create this wonderful place for all us addicts to come and play.

I think this board will become a model for others to follow. I just switched my local phone service tonight, from the old Bell clone, who thought - and acted - like they had a monopoly, and there was nothing I could do about it. Seems to be the time for it.

So congratulations and best wishes on this new beginning, and I think I can speak for all of us when I say that I will do my best to help this board succeed, and to bring to fruition the dreams you have for it.

So, a tip of the hat, a shake of the hand, and we're off and running!

you have to rememberthat the post count here is DYNAMIC, meaning ALL your post counts are updated as you post, so this will be my 9th post, ALL my previous posts will show 9 posts, it is the way the script pulls the count.. technically you could tell it to post the html on the count in the post, but that would have to be looked into, so the counts increment on the posts and show they are going up... anyone follow me?,

Just dropping in to scare off any cybersquatters.

My apologies, but I won't be staying. Nothing to do with the move per se, but it did provide a decision point. IMHO, We're getting into a period of several months of intractable GOP v DEM trench warfare, which being non-American bores me rigid.

The gems that have relevence to myself are still there, but take too much digging to find. I've obviously got my nick, and may well lurk periodically, but at this stage I'll go aposting elsewhere until about this time next year ... assuming we're all still here.
