I'm kinda new to this forum, so I wanted to start out by seeing how people here identify politically. Sorry if I left anyone's party out...

We have a large variety of posters from around the world...your political breakdown will not work for all who post here....
Now if you just want the americans to tell you how they associate themselves leave your poll as is .......If not.....you might change the wording...

Hmm... How might I change it? Perhaps to three choices (conservative, liberal, centrist)? It's kind of hard, because political and ideological affiliations tend to vary in what they're called in different areas of the world.

Gotcha. Just for clarification, I didn't realize that there were people posting here from different countries... Pretty neat!

You forgot the blended classifications - like Libertarian Republican. :lol
What does independent mean in this case? Just that you're none of the others?

If I were in the States, which I'm not thankfully, I definitely register as a Democrat and work for liberal candidates for social reforms. In my country, I'm identified with being on the left and work for social reforms. I think a country's government should benefit all of it's citizens, especially the working people, the poor and the disadvantaged, not exploit them for the benefit of a few.
